Iscte – Lisbon University Institute is a public university education institution, created in 1972, with campuses in Lisbon and Sintra.
In 2010 a new organizational structure was implemented that resulted in the composition of decentralized organic units: four Schools, 16 Departments, eight Research Units.
In 2021 a new unit was launched, Iscte-Sintra, with the purpose of being “the first university school of reference in the field of Digital Technologies in Portugal”.
