Instituto Superior Miguel Torga

The Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT) is one of the oldest private Portuguese university higher education establishments, with more than eight decades of existence (having started its activity in 1937), being part of the national network of Portuguese higher education and recognized of public utility.

Its mission is the creation, transmission and dissemination of culture and science, and also to foster the creation of conditions for research, always with a view to the development and enrichment of the individual and the community.

ISMT is framed within the scope of private and cooperative higher education and is also an accredited training entity.
